Yankuang Energy Group Company Ltd., founded in 1997 and controlled by Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd., focuses on mining, high-end chemical new materials, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and smart logistics as its leading industries. Zhaolou Coal Mine, affiliated with Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Ltd. of Shandong Energy, covers a field area of 143 square kilometers with an annual production capacity of 3.3 million tons and a service life of nearly 60 years. Construction began in January 2005, and the mine was completed and put into operation in December 2009. The coal types are primarily 1/3 coking coal, gas-fat coal, and gas coal, with some areas containing natural coke resources. Its main products are No. 2 clean coal and blended coal, characterized by low ash, low sulfur, and high caking properties.
